No. The sorcerer is target n1 in group pvp so you need to survive, no healer can keep you up if you are weak:)
Sorcerer is great solo class, ever heard of Abyss Gunship?:)
The magic boost is giving you magic damage, the magic accuracy is giving you magic hit to neglect the magic resistance which EVERY gear have. So magic accuracy is a must! About the HP vs DMG, it's personal prefference I assume, but in PvP the HP is what matter most, take a look at the Abyss gear, it gives less dmg but also reduces the dmg you take in pvp, while the draconic gear gives no pvp protection but much more dmg. So pvp - pve:)

Even in WoW when I had full pve dmg gear for pvp I was standing no chance with it, so I always mix HP gear. It's kind of rule for every PvP. It doesn't matter if you kill one before you die, you loose more AP when you die than the one you get when you kill. This game doesn't accurage the suiciders so the stamina, as always, will be key in pvp, especially for such fragile class.

Ofc you can be good even with crappy gear, what matter most is the person playing it:)

WOW players so far that i'v seen have been noobs none of the templars use there shield at all, this game runs differently from WOW so comparing that game to this is pointless, they run differently

Thats true, to be honest nobody knows how this game runs at end seems though nobody has even got there yet... well except chinese but that doesnt explain anything seems though alot of updates have been made since that information.

Warloss I am far from noob:) And I did very fine as templar in the OB:)
You can compare a lot of aspects, it was just a little example. Try the fragile classes and we will talk again about dmg stacking for pvp.

To be honest i think sorcerers can take quite abit especially in PvE, sorcerers have stone skin too with a few buffs as well from chanter or from food i think they can last quite the while especially if its only a templar thats dealing the damage.

There is no doubt that for PvE you stack dmg, but as for taking dmg I can not agree:) The elite mobs were one shoting me usually after cc... Stone skin is nice but on 3min cd... Thats why we have Abyss gear for pvp and Draconic for pve:P

Elites are a bit different and who takes on elites solo?... plus my friend could take a few hits from elites? so i dunno where you went wrong.
